The country of Chile has magnificent beauty in its landscape and equal beauty in its people. I found their culture to be warm and outgoing. In the past I have spoken at their largest university to a packed audience which reflects their interest in the topic of abortion. Even though this country is predominately Catholic, they’ve been tirelessly working to stop proposed laws that would make abortion legal. Recently, several very pregnant Chilean women staged an unforgettable protest against attempts to legalize abortion. They strapped fetal heart monitors onto their swollen bellies that were attached to bullhorns. You can imagine the impact the loud beating hearts of unborn babies had on the crowd. Pro-lifers are so creative in finding ways to protect innocent human life in the womb.
