Mother’s Day is a day for celebrating and remembering. I remember as a very young boy picking out the perfect Mother’s Day gift and proudly placing all the money I had on the counter, then hearing the sales lady say, “What do you know. You have just the right amount of money!” I remember the tears in Mom’s eyes the day I wed. I remember the joy I saw on her face when I placed her first grandchild in her arms. When you stop to think about it, there are many good reasons to celebrate Mother’s Day. May yours be special and joyful as you recall the remarkable way God brought you onto this earth to spend an eternity with Him in heaven. Yes, Mother’s Day is certainly a day worth celebrating. Enjoy it to the fullest.
