Sarah Brown was on top of the world. A top American fifteen-hundred-meter runner, she’s already qualified for this summer’s Olympics. Then she got the news. She was pregnant and her coach was the father. The good news is her coach is also her husband. Instead of aborting the baby who could derail her Olympic dreams, Sarah and Darren chose life and are moving forward with their original plans. The baby is due in March, less than fifteen weeks before Olympic trials. Sarah says she’s letting her body dictate what she does. And Darren pledges to do night duty since she will need her sleep. Sarah says, “We don’t have control all the time, but I’m definitely not afraid to try and not afraid to tell people I am trying.” Please keep them in your prayers.
