Faking Ignorance

Cecile Richards, president of Planned Parenthood, recently testified under oath at a hearing before a House Oversight Committee. Since she’s the queen bee of all things abortion, Congressman Ron DeSantis was shocked when Ms. Richards feigned ignorance to the reality that some babies survive the abortion process. Richards said she “never heard of” a baby surviving abortion. This is nearly impossible to believe considering the national debate over legislation called the Born Alive Infant Protection Act. It requires medical care for babies who survive an abortion and did not have the support of Planned Parenthood. Richards conduct at the hearing further exposed her “lie and deny” approach to being held accountable for the most recent scandal of selling baby body parts. Maybe ignorance sells.
