Down Syndrome Awareness Month

Bradley Mattes   |   October 13, 2015

October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month and I feel passionately about protecting unborn babies diagnosed with Down syndrome from being aborted. Accurate statistics show about sixty-seven percent of these babies are killed. The beautiful reality is babies, children and adults with Down syndrome are an enormous blessing to those around them. Every person I know is very popular in their school, work or church environment. Abortion’s denying so many families the joy of someone who lights up a room every time they enter. Make it your mission this month to tell five people about the blessings of these special Americans. Get more information at life issues dot org. I believe a person with Down syndrome is God’s way of reminding the rest of us that we have room for improvement.
