During the days before Father’s Day I’m sharing what some dads love most about being a father. Bill writes, “Besides the obvious love and companionship, the most important thing is that fatherhood taught me what real agape love is…the way God loves us. Fatherhood, God’s way, causes a man to put his own desires behind those of his family.” Bill added that being a father is a “privilege.” Jery, another dad, said, “I like spending time with my children doing many activities and taking countless photos. Capturing memories, watching them grow in the Lord, knowing that they will be the only possessions I can take with me to heaven.” Your children may be surprised to know what you like most about being a dad. So if you have the opportunity this Father’s Day, tell them.
