John Hopkins Censors Pro-Life Speech

Bradley Mattes   |   May 13, 2015

The pro-life group on the campus of Johns Hopkins University is called Voice for Life and has featured a booth at the school’s Spring Fair for thirty years. Sadly, Johns Hopkins has a history of harassing the pro-life group. This year the University deemed their medically accurate fetal models “disturbing content.” This coming from a major medical school whose students work on human cadavers. The University was censoring speech clear and simple. After a formal, well-worded protest, the University reconsidered their draconian restrictions against the pro-life group. Universities across the nation claim to be bastions of free thinking and discourse—until the speech in question conflicts with their ultra leftist philosophy. Students must stand up for their constitutional right to free speech.
