Euthanasia Radical Loses Medical License

Bradley Mattes   |   August 11, 2014

Philip Nitschke is Australia’s version of America’s pro-euthanasia radical, Jack Kevorkian.  Both claimed to be physicians but have promoted reckless, so-called mercy killings.  Nitschke recently had his medical license revoked by the Medical Board of Australia, saying he poses a serious risk to others.  The last straw was two depressed people came to him, saying they were going to kill themselves.  Nitschke didn’t refer them to qualified help.  The guy is so radical, other pro-euthanasia groups won’t have anything to do with him.  If it weren’t for the tragic deaths he’s responsible for, I’d want him front and center in the euthanasia debate in Australia because he turns a lot of people against it.  But I’m sure we haven’t seen the last of this radical.  Who knows where he’ll pop up next.
