I’m blessed to can call eleven-year-old Chloe Kondrich a friend. Chloe has Down syndrome and is a blessing to everyone she meets. I’ve featured the family in two past TV episodes of Facing Life Head-On. Chloe, her parents, Kurt and Margie, and brother, Nolan have made early intervention advocacy for children with special needs a lifelong passion. They were instrumental in passing the Down Syndrome Prenatal Education Act, better known as Chloe’s Law. It requires all women with a prenatal diagnosis of Down syndrome be made aware of resources available to them so they can reject abortion and chose life. During the signing of the bill, pro-life Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett even had Chloe add her signature.
