The 35th Annual Telly Awards has named Facing Life Head-On television program the winner of two Bronze Telly Awards for the episode entitled, “The Widows of Ethiopia.” The awards were granted in the categories of Cultural TV Program and Social Responsibility TV Program.
“The Widows of Ethiopia” is both an informative and emotional journey that follows the lives of impoverished and abandoned widows who are sponsored through Adoption Ministry 1:27 (an outreach of the Ethiopian Youth with a Mission).
Host and Executive Producer, Brad Mattes, stated, “We strive to share life-affirming stories that change lives through Facing Life Head-On. ‘Widows of Ethiopia’ demonstrates the care for the most vulnerable of humanity that exists throughout the world. It is an honor to accept these Telly Awards, which is a testament to the quality of our programming as it is recognized for excellence by accomplished leaders in the industry.”
