Vanity Fair Weighs In

I often speak out about the dangers of hormonal contraception. Besides being an abortifacient, many women have suffered serious side-effects, some died. Now Vanity Fair is speaking out. One of its writers sent two college students into Planned Parenthood facilities to get NuvaRing contraception. They told the medical staff they had a family history of heart issues and type-two diabetes. One nurse—instead of telling the woman the drug would be dangerous—said “You seem like a good candidate. Would you like to try it?” There’s been a ton of lawsuits filed against NuvaRing and other late-generation hormonal contraceptives. Yet Planned Parenthood continues to promote them. It’s all about money over women’s health when it comes to contraception or abortion.
