Kevin Grow is a popular basketball player at Bensalem High School in Pennsylvania. The senior’s been the team manager for four years. Kevin got his first playing time and word got around about his ability, so the gym was packed the next night for the last home game. In the final minutes, Kevin sunk four three-point shots and led his team to victory by scoring fourteen points. The home crowd went nuts! Head coach, John Mullin, said this about Kevin, “He’s a gift from God. He really is.” Did I tell you Kevin has Down syndrome? During the season, the team wouldn’t end practices until Kevin sank a free throw. Kevin’s just one of many, many individuals with Down syndrome who do amazing things, while bringing out the best in those around them.
