Some people are into jogging. Not me. It makes the ice slosh right out of my iced tea. But Keelan Glass is in a league all her own. She’s only six years old and is the youngest person to finish a half-marathon in less than three hours. For all the non-runners among us, that’s thirteen miles! Keelan ran with her mother, Tracy, as part of LifeRunners, the world’s largest pro-life running group. Not only did Keelan set a world record, she raised nearly three-thousand dollars for Pregnancy Resources of Abilene, Texas. It provides life-affirming alternatives to women with unexpected pregnancies. I have no doubt this pint-sized runner would leave me in the dust when it came to running. And she’s got a leg up on many others by raising money to save unborn babies from abortion.
