Obamacare was supposed to solve all of our insurance and healthcare woes. But that’s not happening for millions of Americans. Edie Littlefield Sundby is one of them. She’s battling stage four gallbladder cancer, and as of January, Edie’s insurance will be cancelled. After a month of research, it comes down to two bleak choices. She can either lose her cancer doctors or pay fifty-percent more for insurance. Edie lives in California and her state insurance exchange is called Covered California. Not only is this state exchange suppose to make Edie’s life better, it’s her biggest obstacle to getting insurance. And it’s considered one of the best in the country! There’s a growing number of women in similar catastrophic situations because of Obamacare. This, my friend, is the real war on women.
