Love and Celebrate all Life

So often when parents get a prenatal diagnosis their baby’s condition is incompatible with life, the so-called doctor offers or even pressures them to abort. That’s always absolutely wrong. God alone gives life and He alone should take it. Even if they disguise it as premature delivery or other soft words, it’s still abortion and it’s still killing. Nancy Flanders gives family and friends of such parents excellent and practical advice. At first just listen and allow them to grieve and even get angry. Be there to support their decision not to abort their baby. If it’s okay with them, organize a Celebration of Life shower to acknowledge the child’s life. Be there for the parents.
