The Susan G. Komen foundation ignited a huge controversy after announcing they were ending funding of Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest chain of abortion mills. A few days later they caved into intense pressure and recanted the decision. Ever since, Komen has seen a declining donor base because the enormous controversy alerted pro-lifers everywhere that Komen funded Planned Parenthood. Now Komen has announced they’re cancelling fundraising walks next year in seven major cities. Phoenix, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Tampa Bay, San Francisco and Washington, DC will not be hosting the event. Komen should’ve stuck to their initial decision to not fund part of the abortion industry. They could’ve weathered the storm and picked up tens of thousands of pro-life donors and helped even more women.
