Helping Inner City Women and Babies

Bradley Mattes   |   May 31, 2013

Chris Slattery founded Expectant Mother Care Frontline Pregnancy Centers. He’s got a great idea to help more inner city women and their unborn babies. Chris is renting flexible workplace space that comes with furniture and a receptionist. He’ll staff them with skilled college and grad school interns who’re multilingual, particularly in Spanish. Two interns will sidewalk counsel outside abortion mills that target poor and minority women, while two staff the pro-life center. They’ll market the centers on the Internet and through word of mouth. Operating hours will depend on demand. Chris is targeting Austin, Baltimore, Buffalo, Charlotte, Cleveland, Detroit, Miami Philly, San Antonio and Washington, DC for expansion. Read more about Chris’s work.
