Social networking can be an effective tool for pro-lifers. The mainstream media have for weeks ignored the trial of the century. Daily testimony regarding abortionist Kermit Gosnell would have the intense interest of millions of Americans—if only they knew about it. Gosnell’s being tried on several counts of murder and running what the FBI called a “house of horrors.” Some media have openly admitted they’re ignoring the trial because they don’t want it to hurt legalized abortion. But pro-lifers using twitter have loosened the logjam. Many of us posted several tweets with the hashtag of Gosnell. Hashtags are words that trigger attention and help monitor trends of daily interest to people. In this case, several media were shamed into actually reporting on the Gosnell trial. Thank you Jesus.
