Abortion Hurts the Economy

Bradley Mattes   |   January 10, 2013

Even the liberal media is acknowledging the past, dire predictions of overpopulation have actually gone in the opposite direction. Bloomberg News, known for its pro-abortion slant in reporting, says the United States is experiencing its slowest population growth since 1930. And it’s negatively affecting our economy. Is abortion partly to blame? Of course it is. Let’s use the numbers of Planned Parenthood’s research arm, the Allan Guttmacher Institute. According to them, abortion’s killed nearly 24 million babies who’d now be productive taxpayers in the US economy. We’re talking about hundreds of billions of dollars in taxes alone. Imagine all the other spending this missing generation would be doing to enhance our economy. Abortion’s bad because it kills babies and economies.
