A Pregnancy Test for Men

I guess pregnancy tests aren’t just for women anymore. As a joke, a man used a pregnancy test left at his home, and—surprise—it came out positive. Well, the guy and his buddy had a good yuck about it. The man’s friend later made fun of him in a post on the internet. But then one of the comments in response took a serious tone. It was a suggestion the man who had the positive test result get tested for testicular cancer. It turns out the hormone detected by pregnancy tests in pregnant women is also in some types of testicular cancer. The friend encouraged the man to get tested and sure enough, he had a small testicular tumor. What at first seemed to be an immature guy prank, ended up catching a serious cancer in its early stage.
