One of the reason I love the Summer and Winter Olympics is they bring out the best in us, and often the most inspiring stories. American Reese Hoffa got a bronze medal in men’s shot put in London. When reporters descended upon him, Reese was quick to thank his birth mother for giving him life. She was only 16 and Reese was her second child. He thanked her for doing what she felt was right for him. Reese was adopted into a family with four other children and has participated in three Olympic games. Reese told the reporters individuals like him are great people who want to do great things. But they just need a home in which to do them. If you’re one who’s considered adoption, maybe God’s using this radio program to give you a nudge.
