Homeschooled Kids Pursued by Universities

Bradley Mattes   |   January 13, 2011

More than 2 million kids are homeschooled in America, and they score above the national average on testing. This fact hasn’t been lost on our nation’s colleges and universities, vigorously working to recruit homeschooled children. They sponsor “Homeschool College Days,” and websites like Regent University and the US Air Force Academy make a special effort to reach out to them. Stanford eagerly embraces them, saying homeschooled youth have “special motivation and intellectual independence.” When I hire staff, resumes with homeschooled backgrounds get my attention. At Life Issues Institute we want to help parents home school their children with free pro-life materials. Email me via today’s broadcast link at lifeissues dot org (see below) and I’ll tell you how.
