Pro-Life TV Show Nominated for Emmy
Facing Life Head-On garners industry attention for compelling stories, excellence in communication
An international non-profit organization, based in Cincinnati, earned a nomination for the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) prestigious Emmy Award. Facing Life Head-On, a weekly television show sponsored by Life Issues Institute, Inc., is one of four nominees in the NATAS Ohio Valley Chapter’s “Interview/Discussion Program” category. Winners will be announced July 31.
“Four years ago, we set out to produce a quality show that would touch the hearts and minds of people across America. It’s incredibly satisfying to see our team recognized for that commitment to excellence,” said Brad Mattes, host and executive producer of the show and executive director of Life Issues Institute. “We’re honored to be considered for such a highly-competitive award.”
Facing Life Head-On airs weekly in more than 100 million homes across the US and Canada. Fusing education with entertainment to promote the value of innocent human life at all stages, the broadcast covers topics as diverse as adoption, disabilities, abortion, stem cell treatments, medical technologies and end-of-life care.
