Twenty Years
Remember 1991? You probably weren’t on the Internet. You definitely weren’t shelling out $4 per gallon of gas. And, face it, we all had more hair. But this week marks another notable moment in time. Because twenty years ago this month, Life Issues Institute began.
Every anniversary is a bittersweet occasion. Celebrating so many years standing for truth and justice also breaks our hearts, for we never imagined the battle for life would be so long, so arduous – that an organization like ours would even have to exist.
Seeing abortion become familiar and watching America grow numb to the industry’s lies sparked a fresh desire for us to update and alter the way we disseminated our message. Twenty years later, we’re still committed to promoting and providing effective educational tools for the pro-life movement. By reinvigorating a nationwide educational awakening, we’re touching the hearts and minds of men and women in crisis.
We encourage you to examine the groundbreaking publications, radio and television efforts of Life Issues Institute. We hope you will share our excitement and optimism and help support our life-saving efforts. While we daily pray that politicians, courts, and the American people will put us out of work, until every living human being is given equal protection under the law, we will persevere.
Thank you for standing with us. One blessing of the past 20 years is the growing fold of advocates who are serving as the hands and feet of this life-affirming mission. In fact, our 4,000th fan is about to join our Facebook page!
