Pregnancy centers are the tip of the spear in the pro-life movement. Their contributions to women, their babies, and their communities at large can not be overstated. This week, Brad and Victor discuss new information released from the Charlotte Lozier Institute showing just how impactful these centers truly are. Expert guests Moira Gaul and Janette Chun expand upon this topic while sharing their personal knowledge and experience. Join us as we highlight pregnancy centers value to women on this week’s Straight Talk on Life Issues.

A frequent claim by pro-abortion activists is that the pro-life movement doesn’t care about women.
The courageous work of pro-life pregnancy help centers on behalf of babies, moms and dads, however, tells an entirely different story.
I’ve often said that these centers are where the “rubber meets the road” in changing hearts and saving lives – while typically having precious few minutes to do it.
Take a look at the documented life-affirming services these centers provide.

Hope for a New Generation
Charlotte Lozier Institute analyzed data from 2,750 pregnancy centers collected in a national survey, finding that pregnancy resource centers provide over $350m worth of free services every year. This includes meeting with clients over 16,000,000 times and serving nearly 9750,000 new clients with 97% reporting a positive experience.

Fact Sheet Pregnancy Centers Serving Women and Saving Lives (2020 Study)
Pro-life pregnancy centers (formerly known as crisis pregnancy centers and also as pregnancy care or resource centers) are faith-based, community-based, not-for-profit organizations which first began to appear in the U.S. in the late 1960s, as abortion was becoming legal, to provide care and resources to assist women with immediate and ongoing needs related to unexpected pregnancy.

I believe the prolife centers should emphasize the fact that they support “women’s rights”. The pro abortion community imply that they support women’s rights and prolife community does not. A woman has the right to have children in addition to the right to have a career. Prolife centers help women through pregnancy and caring for babies but the woman has the right to work outside the home if she chooses.
Dear Brad.. I just have to share with you about the Pregnancy Counseling Center WELS Lutherans for Life I was involved with for 25 years This April they are celebrating their 40th anniversary. Del and I and 3 other couples were the ones that started it. Once a radio person caled and interviewed me on my day at the center. I told him we are ” Saving Lives for here and eternity”
I saw and heard what abortion does to men and women. To this day I speak up to others telling them what God’s Word says about abortion and how Lowell and I continue to thank our Lord or you speaking out for those that have no voice. So, Onward Christian Soldier, you are a blessing for all who are helping others along life’s way having precious lives saved and speaking out about abortion. Our love , Ann & Lowell Tolly
