A closer look at the women cited as victims of abortion bans
Not one woman has ever died from an abortion ban.
Anytime I state that fact, I get comments calling me a liar. But I have spent years asking for names and reading every single article sent my way. And every single time, I was right. Abortion wouldn’t have healed or saved any of these women. Most cases have nothing to do with abortion at all. In some cases, they did have access to abortion but still died because it was irrelevant to their situation. Some women in these articles died because they had a legal abortion.
This is just another example of how the media will lie in the headlines to push a narrative but when you actually read the article, you find that the headline is false. They know that most of their readers won’t actually read the article or look up these cases themselves. They are right.
I just wrote about this when it comes to the media claiming that the US is charging women for having natural miscarriages – also not true. But the headlines say it’s happening and now people believe it.
Past The Headlines
Izabela from Pszczyna
Izabela died because doctors didn’t remove an already deceased baby, causing her to die from sepsis. Those doctors were charged, rightfully so. It is completely legal in every US state to remove already deceased babies. That has nothing to do with abortion.
Savita Halappanavar
Savita died from a pre-existing medical condition, her death was caused by antibiotic resistant, e-coli ESBL, and sepsis. The hospital was negligent in diagnosing her correctly. An abortion wouldn’t have saved her. Her death had nothing to do with pro-life laws. This didn’t even happen in the US.
Ciji Graham in NC
Ciji died from chronic medical issues, not from being denied access to an abortion. In fact, she had access to abortion. In NC at the time, it was legal to have any abortion for any reason up until 12 weeks. She was only 6 weeks pregnant. She had her abortion booked. She died before she could make it.
Josseli Barnica
Josseli had a natural miscarriage and died three days later from an infection that doctors didn’t catch. This has nothing to do with abortion.
Porsha Ngumezi
Porsha died from a hemorrhage after a miscarriage. This had nothing to do with abortion.
Nevaeh Crain
Nevaeh died from a high risk pregnancy. Possible medical malpractice involved but even the article itself said that the experts who reviewed her medical records admitted that they aren’t sure her death could have been prevented. They said that it may have been possible to save both her and the baby had she been closely monitored and given treatment. This is another case that has nothing to do with abortion.
Tierra Walker
Died from her chronic health issues and a high risk pregnancy. 90 doctors were involved with her care and not one of them suggested an abortion and all of them said that her pregnancy was going well, managing the symptoms. There are no details provided for how long it had been since she last saw a doctor to when she passed.
Amber Thurman
Amber Thurman died from a legal abortion. Not from not having access to one.
Candi Miller
Candi died because she was too afraid to get treatment at the hospital for her at home abortion. She died quite literally because of pro-abortion propaganda scaring women about being arrested for getting medical care.
Taysha Wilkinson-Sobieski
Taysha died from an ectopic pregnancy, which is 100% legal to treat under every pro-life law and has nothing to do with abortion.
Not one name that was provided in my comments was a situation where a woman died because she didn’t have access to abortion, so I’ll say it again:
Not one woman has ever died from an abortion ban.
The pro-abortion lobby has a vested interest in making it appear that without abortion, women will die. They need you to believe that because their bottom line is at risk. We, as a society, have no problem seeing the ethical issues with big pharma, big tech, big oil, and all these multi-billion dollar industries who lie to people so they can profit even more. So why are we so blinded by big abortion?
Big Abortion
Abortion is a billion dollar industry that profits every time a woman chooses to abort. Every time a little baby’s heartbeat is forcibly stopped, they make money. Abortion clinics have abortion quotas to meet each month. They have pizza parties and incentives for their employees when they meet their monthly abortion goals. They don’t profit off of women who choose life for their children, they don’t profit off of adoption. They have entire teams of writers that they ship off to Hollywood to work with popular TV shows, training them on how to make abortion sound ethical, easy, and necessary.
Ask More Questions
The only way to combat these lies is to stop believing the headlines, read the articles, and ask a lot of questions.
When Roe was the law of the land, why did the US have some of the highest maternal mortality rates still? Pregnant women still died in states where abortion was completely legal, with no limits. Why does the child have to be killed before removing them from the woman’s body in order to save her life? How have pro-life doctors practiced for decades without abortion, even treating high risk pregnancies? Why does no one talk about the fact that legalized abortion contributes to our high maternal mortality rates?
Women die every year in the U.S. from legalized abortion.
But the media conveniently fails to report on those stories…
Be a Calum & Lois
Ask the questions, do the research, dig in! That’s what my friends, TRADical – with Calum & Lois, did. They heard the argument, “thousands of women died from abortion in Romania when communist dictator Nicolae Ceausescu banned abortion. Abortion bans kill!” and instead of just believing it at face value, they decided to look into it themselves. And what do ya know! They found:
“the region with the highest proportion of abortion deaths (10.2%) was Australia and New Zealand, which have two of the most liberal abortion regimes in the world (de facto up to birth), while the region with the lowest proportion (6.5%) was Western Asia and Northern Africa – in other words, the Islamic world, with many of the strictest laws in the world.”

Scratching The Service
The pro-abortion industry is lying about women dying from abortion bans and women being jailed for natural miscarriages. They lie about the biology of unborn children, about reasons why women seek abortion, about what happens during an abortion. A fact that the pro-abortion lobby really doesn’t want you to know? It’s the pro-abortion doctors who are putting women at risk, not abortion bans. The whole pro-choice/pro-abortion industry is built on lies because if they really spoke the truth – they’d have no support.
Because the reality is, who would honestly support an industry that profits off of murdering millions of children?
