Steve Forbes to Honor Pro-Life Leader John C. Willke

(Cincinnati, OH) March 22, 2005 – Steve Forbes, editor in chief of Forbes Magazine and former presidential candidate, will be the keynote speaker for a very special celebration hosted by Life Issues Institute. On April 5, 2005, Dr. John C. Willke will turn 80 years young! Dr. Willke is one of the founders of the pro-life movement and has provided crucial leadership in a global effort to protect innocent human life from the moment of fertilization to natural death.

Life Issues Institute is commemorating this momentous occasion with a birthday celebration at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Cincinnati.

There will be a VIP reception with Steve Forbes at 5:30 pm. At the same time a general reception will take place. Dinner begins at 6:30 pm.

Ken Blackwell, Ohio secretary of state and candidate for governor, will be the master of ceremonies.

Bradley Mattes, executive director of Life Issues Institute, said, “Dr. Willke has been affectionately called the Father of the Pro-Life Movement. Now we refer to him as the Grandfather of the Pro-Life Movement. April 5th promises to be a grand celebration!”
