Statement: Planned Parenthood’s Traffic in Baby Body Parts

Editor   |   July 14, 2015

CINCINNATI, OH (July 14, 2015) – Life Issues Institute president Bradley Mattes addressed the Center for Medical Progress’s (CMP) unfolding expose of Planned Parenthood’s illegal traffic in baby body parts for profit, including its abortionists’ use of the illegal partial-birth abortion procedure to ensure intact organs and tissue:

“Planned Parenthood has done many vile and disgusting things in its sordid past, but making money by selling body parts from the babies they kill is beyond words,” Mattes said. “I applaud CMP’s Human Capital Project for the rigorous investigation that exposes this heinous business and believe a federal investigation into Planned Parenthood’s violation of federal law is in order.

“Each American who takes home a paycheck should look at the withholding line and realize that their elected officials are allowing their money—representing hours of their lives—to be used for this ugly business by way of federal funding of Planned Parenthood. As the summary video provided by the Human Capital Project clearly shows, even Planned Parenthood is aware that the public would balk at this business. Planned Parenthood should be immediately defunded.”

More information about the Human Capital Project and the summary video are available at the Center for Medical Progress website.
