A viral post on social media has sparked outrage.
A young woman named Allyah posted to her X account saying, “I’m pregnant! Having a scan soon to find out if it’s a girl or an abortion” with the hashtag #killallmen.
While abortion is always wrong, occasionally we see something like this, which shows just how dark it can get. Sadly, sex-selective abortions are not new. During China’s barbaric one-child policy, innocent girls were aborted as families wanted to have a son to carry on their name.
Understandably, the backlash to Allyah’s post was considerable. Many expressed their shock and horror that someone would publicly announce their intention to kill their child because he or she was the wrong sex. Others pleaded with the young woman, encouraging her to choose life if the child inside of her was a boy.
In response to the backlash, Allyah returned to social media and said, “I don’t have the stomach to read all these negative comments. Here’s your update. Some people have convinced me to look into raising my child as a girl even if it is a boy, and trying to get treatment as early as seven years old. I’ve been reading a lot about that.”
She is talking about child sex-change surgery.
While few abortion-minded women have such dark and twisted motivations, the abortion industry is happy to turn a profit regardless of the circumstances. Extreme pro-abortion politicians who support no restrictions on abortion seek to make sex-selective abortions legal across the nation.
If the radicals were to get their way, there would be no justification too heinous. A woman could abort her child due to any sort of personal preference. This would even include race-selective abortions. If a woman became pregnant but did not want a child of a certain race, she could legally abort it for that reason alone.
Would the abortion industry refuse to kill those children? Of course not. A child in the womb is a dollar that could be in the abortionist’s pocket.
Abortion for any reason is always a tragedy. Innocent children do not deserve to have their lives ripped away from them. Seeing the shockingly dark depths of pro-abortion extremism serves as an important reminder that we must keep fighting to defend life.
