Abortion Landscape Dramatically Altered One Year After Dobbs
Life Issues Institute joins tens of millions of Americans in celebrating the one-year anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.
Since that momentous day, many states have taken steps to protect all or nearly all babies and their mothers and fathers from the violence of abortion. Others have taken what limited steps are possible to protect their most precious natural resource – unborn babies.
“Not only are many states protecting the unborn,” Bradley Mattes, president of Life Issues Institute, said, “legislatures and governors are passing compassionate bills with resources and tools for women and men facing unexpected pregnancies, equipping them to say ‘yes’ to life.”
Tragically, deeply Blue states have cruelly placed the unborn in the crosshairs of abortion until birth with no limitations. As a result, America has not yet reached the finish line in our urgent race to end abortion, but the demise of Roe and Casey has opened many doors.
