Baby Gabriel was diagnosed before birth with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, a serious but treatable heart defect. His biological parents sought an abortion, but his surrogate mother, McKenna West, refused. Gabriel was eventually born prematurely in Texas and received intensive medical care.
Now, the Texas Supreme Court has allowed his legal parents to potentially transfer him to a California hospital, while requiring continued life-sustaining care and medical approval for the transfer.
The obvious concern is that Gabriel will now be in the custody of the very couple which ordered his murder only a few short months ago. I will continue to provide updates on Gabriels condition as we get them. Please keep him in your prayers.
