A coalition of 93 Republican members of Congress has filed a legal brief supporting Louisiana’s effort to enforce its laws against the distribution of abortion drugs by mail.

The case centers on whether states can hold out-of-state abortion providers accountable when abortion pills are prescribed and shipped into states with laws restricting the deadly pill.

States must have the authority to protect the health and safety of their residents and enforce their own abortion laws.

If pro-life jurisdictions cannot protect their citizens from the death and destruction of chemical abortion, then pro-abortion radicals in California, New York, or Illinois will effectively be setting the nation’s abortion law.
