Recently abortion advocates, like US Senate candidate James Talarico, have made the news attempting to twist scripture in an effort to defend pro-abortion policies.
What every Christian should know is that the Bible is clear. Abortion is immoral.
- In Luke 1:41 John the Baptist leapt in his mother’s womb when in the presence of Jesus.
- In Genesis 25:22 Jacob and his brother Esau wrestled in the womb.
- In Judges 13:7 it is declared that Samson would be a Nazirite even in the womb and certain dietary requirements were placed on his mom.
- In the 10 commandment we see “you shall not murder.”
The Bible repeatedly establishes personhood in the womb.
