An Illinois man has been sentenced to prison after secretly giving abortion pills to a pregnant woman without her knowledge or consent. According to reports, the man had pressured the woman to have an abortion, but when she refused, he allegedly took matters into his own hands and administered abortion-inducing drugs himself.
The woman suffered a medical emergency and lost her unborn child. Prosecutors argued the act was deliberate and resulted in the death of the baby, leading to serious criminal charges.
The lax distribution of these deadly abortion drugs allows abusers to force abortion on innocent women and children.
