Another Texas man has been indicted after authorities say he secretly gave abortion drugs to a pregnant woman without her knowledge or consent, killing her unborn child. Prosecutors allege he crushed the drugs into a drink after repeatedly pressuring the mother to get an abortion. The baby girl, named Presley Mae, was delivered stillborn at 14 weeks.
Reports show that the man repeatedly pressured the woman into getting an abortion, even offering her money if she would kill their child. She refused.
So how was he able to acquire these deadly drugs? The chemical abortion pill is distributed by mail with no meaningful medical oversight. Abusers have repeatedly been able to purchase the deadly drugs.
