A pro-life march in Lisbon, Portugal was disrupted when a man threw a Molotov cocktail into a crowd of pro-lifers gathered outside the country’s parliament. The event, part of Portugal’s nationwide March for Life, included many families with young children and babies.
The incendiary device struck the ground but failed to ignite, preventing what officials said could have been serious injuries and deaths.
Police quickly apprehended and arrested the suspect at the scene, while others believed to be affiliated with an anarchist group fled.
More than 4,000 pro-life advocates gathered for the first annual march. Unfortunately, attacks against pro-lifers have become far too common as the culture of death becomes more and more violent
