Do Finances Justify Abortion?

One of the most common arguments used in defense of abortion is the claim that a woman should abort her child if she is not financially stable. While abortion advocates often attempt to couch their argument within a veil of compassion, the truth of their stance is quite sinister. Every human being, regardless of their financial circumstances is a child of God. Attempting to justify killing an innocent child simply because her parents are not perceived to be as well off as others is barbaric. Just as it would be unreasonable to claim that killing homeless people is “merciful” it’s equally immoral to claim that killing a child so they don’t grow up poor is acceptable. There are many options for parents that struggle financially and the pro-life movement is waiting to help them.
