Throughout history some of the most infamous and evil figures the world has ever known had something in common. Moral monsters like Hitler and those who participated in chattel slavery denied the personhood of those they abused. Similarly, modern day abortion advocates who fancy themselves to be philosophers are attempting to travel that very same path. Many now accept the medical consensus that human life begins at conception, yet they deny that the living, growing, human being is a “person.” This arbitrary distinction is not science, its absurdity. When we pick and choose what members of the human race are “persons” deserving rights, the track record speaks for itself. Truth is the unborn baby is a person just like you and me.
