Advocates of abortion said the reversal of Roe v Wade would be bad for women’s health. They claimed more women would die. Countless media outlets said the reversal of Roe would harm women’s health – that women would die. The opposite happened. Roe’s demise enabled several states to protect the lives of unborn babies with pro-life legislation. Between twenty twenty-two and twenty twenty-three, maternal mortality dropped by nearly seventeen percent. Sadly, but not unexpectedly, the media have downplayed this positive development. Make no mistake, pro-life laws not only protect the lives of unborn babies, they also save the lives and improve the health of their mothers. We must move forward passing more pro-life legislation. It’s the pro-woman thing to do.
