Nancy and Jay Harmon from St. Peter, Minnesota had been fostering three sisters and wanted to adopt them. For two years these girls had suffered abuse from their biological parents. It’s hard keeping siblings together, must less three. Even so, Nancy and Jay were told they weren’t “the right fit” for the girls because of their Chirstian faith. This couple made the bizarre, dangerous, and radical claim there were only two genders. Their crime was not towing the line of the radical Left, and the seething state officials were going to make them pay for it. Even at the cost of the three vulnerable sisters and their new family. The Harmons had just enough on their side to make the officials back off. But sadly, many others aren’t so fortunate.
