New research shows women who lose a child to abortion suffer grief much more often and it’s much more intense than a feeling of relief. Planned Parenthood claims more than ninety-five percent of women feel mostly relief after their abortions. But when researchers compared women who lost babies naturally with those who had abortions, the latter suffered much higher levels of shame, regret and guilt. Relief was the prominent emotion in only thirty percent of women. It’s not surprising when seventy percent of women feel pressured to abort. Those who said they were coerced into abortion continue to experienced intense negative feelings, as long as twenty years later.
