Last month marked twenty years since the death of Terri Schiavo, killed by the court actions of her estranged husband, Michael Schiavo.  Michael had control of nearly a million dollars of a medical malpractice settlement.  After he began a relationship with another woman.  Terri’s death would mean he could remarry and inherit the remainder of the settlement.  After twenty years Terri’s family requested that court records be unsealed, but Michael immediately opposed the request.  A Sixth Circuit Court ruled in Michael’s favor purely on procedural grounds.  Terry’s family will appeal.  After all this time what is Michael trying to hide?  The Florida Constitution clearly states the public has a right to inspect most court documents.  Please pray justice prevails and I’ll keep you posted.
