Personhood for Elephants

An extreme Left organization called the NonHuman Rights Project got shot down in court again.  The group wanted the Colorado Supreme Court to declare an elephant a person.  In New York they tried to do the same for chimps and a second time for an elephant.  Sadly, in New York two judges actually agreed with this ludicrous request.  In Colorado the Court ruled unanimously against them.  There’s a deep irony here.  Both New York and Colorado declared unborn babies are not considered persons any time during pregnancy.  And then if the children survive a botched abortion and are born alive, infanticide takes over and still denies them life.  Yet there’s an attempt to give animals personhood.  This will only get worse until every Christian engages in the election process.
