Finding Love and a Baby

Taylor and Drew Deras are nurses in a NICU in Omaha, Nebraska.  It’s where they found love and a daughter.  Little Ella was born at their hospital, weighing in at just over one pound at twenty-three weeks and placed in their NICU.  Taylor signed up to care for the baby and Drew later also formed a bond with the tiny and fragile child.  When Ella became a ward of the state, the couple offered to become her foster parents.  Then, on National Adoption Day, Taylor and Drew adopted Ella.  Taylor said she’s “walking and talking and meeting developmental milestones” for any two-year-old.  Their story shows God brings unexpected blessings in unexpected ways.  Be open to the Lord’s will for your life and you never know what’ll happen.
