Happy Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving, as you gather around the dinner table.  In between the cheers for your favored football team.  As you reconnect with family and friends.  Stop to think of the one who made all this possible, and I’m not talking about the newly elected officials.  It’s the One who literally made those politicians and placed them in seats of leadership.  Our Jehovah, Heavenly Father, Abba, the Alpha and Omega, God.  Whatever name you use to address the provider of everything – of everyone – you hold dear, spend this day in ceaseless praise to the One who loves you and gives you good things.  Psalms sixty-nine verse thirty says “I will praise God’s name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving.”  May you have a blessed and very happy Thanksgiving, my friend.
