In a world of craziness here’s some great news on the horizon. Catholic Healthcare International purchased a hospital in Howell, Michigan that will respect human life. It will house a medical school that’ll be passionately pro-life and is slated to open in two years. According to a media report, it’ll include “an embryo orphanage, a center for unborn children, a birthing unit, and a family medicine practice.” Of particular interest is a unit for patients who’ve suffered serious brain injuries named after Terri Schiavo. This has been a dream of Terri’s brother, Bobby Schindler, president of the Terri Schiavo Life and Hope Network. I served as its chairman of the board and am thrilled that after all Bobby’s work this will soon become reality. Please keep its completion in your prayers.
