US Senator Sherrod Brown is a Democrat from Ohio.  He’s played a predominant role in introducing the Healthy Maternity and Obstetric Medicine Act.  It deals with insurance enrollment periods covering pregnant women.  Nine years ago, when Senator Brown introduced the bill it referenced maternity nineteen times and women twenty-two times.  This year he’s entirely scrubbed the word women from the bill that specifically impacts women.  Instead, you’ll find the words “pregnant individual” and “pregnant person.”  The word maternity is only mentioned four times.  Senator Sherrod Brown will tell you he fights for women’s rights, while kicking women to the curb for the sake of wokeism.  The Senator can’t have it both ways.  He can’t claim to support women while not acknowledging their existence.
