Careful Who We Vote For

Congressman Chip Roy of Texas has uncovered some maddening information.  The Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, or FACE was passed thirty years ago to protect access to abortion centers and pro-life pregnancy centers.  But in that time ninety-seven percent of all the arrests have been of peaceful, praying pro-life advocates.  Even though hundreds of violent acts against pregnancy centers took place after the demise of Roe, nearly all the arrests have been of pro-lifers.  Congressman Roy says the FACE Act “has become a tactic of those who want a weaponized justice system.  It points out very clearly that [the FACE Act] is being used as a weapon.”  He called it “prosecutions on steroids.”  We live in a tragic time when we have to be very careful who we vote for.
