Texas Infant Mortality

Recently, a prestigious medical journal published a study claiming the Texas Heartbeat law ending nearly all abortions resulted in a sharp increase in infant mortality.  This increase was not “sharp” but nearly identical to the average infant mortality rate.  The increase in infant deaths was due to over sixteen thousand more babies being born because their lives were saved from abortion.  Further, babies previously diagnosed with serious health issues, many deemed incompatible with life, were allowed to be born and not aborted.  The deaths of the aborted babies were not recorded, whereas those allowed to be born were.  This is another example of biased journals and legacy media running with false or misleading information when it fits their extreme agenda of unbridled abortion.
