Justin Padgett was a fifth grade schoolteacher. Foster parents worked in the same building and would bring Jayen into his classroom early. Justin would take this one-on-one time with him to make sure his schoolwork was done. Jayden excelled in school and came to see his teacher as a father figure so, Jayden asked Justin to adopt him. There was one catch. He had three brothers and sisters. Justin and Kasey thought long and hard. Kasey always wanted a big family and they couldn’t bear the thought of these siblings being separated. Justin says there’s never a dull moment having four kids around the house. It’s busy and full of noise and activity. He said, “It’s absolutely the best ever” and Kasey reminds them they’ll always have a place to come back to.
